Has everyone heard of Thirty-one Gifts yet? No?! You are definitely missing out! They are a direct sales company that sells totes, organizational items, purses, accessories and the list doesn’t stop there!

My favorite item is the Large Utility Tote. I used 4 of them on my recent road trip to Florida. I was able to pack a weeks worth of food, pillows, blankets, clothing and personal care items for my whole family. It made carrying everything to and from the truck much easier!

Did you know Thirty-one loves to help communities by giving back? They have several initiatives throughout the year. One of their most current ones is #GivingTuesday. On #GivingTuesday, for the first 3,100 donations made to World Vision, Thirty-One Gifts will donate a Hope Kit tote filled with hygiene supplies to a woman or girl in need in the U.S.

The Hope Kit is a Thirty-One Gift’s Cosmetic Bag filled with essential hygiene supplies such as a toothbrush, shampoo, hairbrush soap and a special note of encouragement. I received one for review and it brought tears to my eyes, knowing this amazing company loves helping those in need.

20141122_210706Please consider making a donation. The donations on #GivingTuesday can be made by phone (1-888-511-6588) or online (Worldvision.org) to World Vision on Giving Tuesday. On #GivingTuesday every donation made to the Christian humanitarian agency World Vision will make twice the impact by combatting poverty in one of the 100 countries where World Vision works.

Now it’s time for that GIVEAWAY I was talking about!! I will be giving away, to 1 lucky reader, a Handle-It Cosmetic Bag in your choice of print! All you have to do, is comment on this blog post how you like to give back. Whether it’s donating food, clothes, toys or just your time.

Screen Shot 2014-11-24 at 8.40.06 AMAdditionally, for every comment I get on this post, I will make a personal donation to World Vision. This is where you can really help. Click on those share buttons and plaster this all over Facebook, Twitter or wherever you like! Let’s make these clicks count!!

We are donating food to local food banks in town in December as their shelves are often bare. And, I am trying to bless others by passing along my infant clothing and ‘tools.’ I just gave a friend who adopted a physically disabled boy a ton of items for toddlers plus every unopened pack of diapers and pull ups in the house, too.-6

My family and I always try to give back whenever we can. We often donate our clothing, toys and other household items. We also help out with local fundraisers, sponsoring families especially around the holidays, taking on extra clients pro-bono and participate in our church events. One of the most touching things I’ve personally done is donating my hair to Locks of Love and plan to do that again after the first of the year!!-11

Giving back could be something as simple as holding a door for someone. It could be helping an elderly person get something they cannot reach off of a shelf. It can simply be a hello or a smile….this can turn someone’s bad day into a not so bad day. It can make them feel like someone cares. These are things we try to do every time we go somewhere. Volunteering time to help children learn something new like a sport. There are so many ways to give back.-12
