Easy Beef Tips and Gravy #McCormick #GlutenFree
I was in a pinch trying to think what I should make for supper. I didn’t have any meat out of the freezer and it was already close to 10 in the morning. I headed down to the basement for inspiration.
I started looking at my seasonings when I spotted a packet of McCormick Gluten Free Brown Gravy. I then thought about the can of cream of mushroom soup I had recently couponed. In the freezer, I knew I had cut up stew beef. Problem was, it was frozen! I took it out anyway and decided I would give it a shot.
I had all the ingredients for, what I was hoping would be, tasty beef tips and gravy!
Here’s how I did it:
- 1 Packet of McCormick Gluten Free Brown Gravy
- 1 can of heat and eat cream of mushroom soup(not condensed)
- 3lbs of cut up stew meat
Mix the packet of brown gravy mix and soup in the crock of your slowcooker. Place the meat on top. Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. (Since mine was frozen, I put it on high for 7 hours and it was perfect!)
I served it with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Everyone loved it! Totally a hit and glad I took the chance with the frozen meat! Next time, I think I’ll put a can of sliced mushrooms in. That sounds so yummy!
I was provided with McCormick seasoning to create my recipe. All opinions are my own!
